Our team
The people behind AWAM
A small team working with a wide network of mentors, educators and industry partners.
Ellah Wafula
Founder & Executive Director
As the president of AWAM Kenyan chapter, I network with industry professionals and organizations to promote the Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance and its mission. I develop and implement mentorship programs for young girls interested in aviation maintenance, and connect them with industry experts for guidance and opportunities. I also organize and host events to showcase the aviation maintenance industry and AWAM.
